The ONCORE expert group monitors new developments; establishes and updates the catalogue of codes, data and gaps; and develops guidelines for open-source software development in the field of Nuclear Science and Engineering. It supports the IAEA by recommending benchmarks, training courses, publications and Coordinated Research Projects (CRPs). Workshops and special sessions at conferences are also fostered. Alongside this effort, educational material is continually developed and curated to accompany the initiative.
